A private table is not a private boat

These are three different products, and the words are used loosely across the market:

• Your own table on a shared cruise. Other guests are aboard; you are seated as a couple. Some operators publish this as policy on their own site — Xclusive Yachts, for instance, answers on its Dubai sunset dinner-cruise FAQ that “you and your guest will be having a private table”. That is one operator describing one product; it is not a market rule and not a claim about any other listing here.
• An upgraded deck or area, on request. The same operator’s FAQ states that, for that product, an upper-deck seat can be booked at an additional cost per person, subject to availability. That is Xclusive’s own published policy for its sunset dinner cruise, not a rule for other listings — so ask which deck your ticket covers, and whether a different position carries a charge, before you pay. • Exclusive vessel hire, or a reserved deck. Exclusive vessel hire reserves the vessel for your party, with crew and operating conditions still applying. A reserved deck or area may share the vessel with other guests, so it is not the same thing.
