A shared ticket is priced per guest, so adults and children each add to the total. A private hire quote usually has a vessel-hire component for the boat and time window, capped by capacity. Ask for that component to be written separately from anything priced per guest — catering, drinks, decoration or extra hours — so you can see what changes when your numbers change. Then compare complete quotes for the same party and the same inclusions. The demo records here fix the vessel figure and never multiply it by guests, and every record shows which basis applies.
Check whether transfer is included, available at an extra cost, or not offered. If it is included, confirm whether it is private or shared, the pickup point, the service area and the time window — those four answers decide how much the transfer is actually worth to you.
A traditional wooden dhow, a glass-sided catamaran, an enclosed dining launch and a motor yacht give completely different evenings and are not interchangeable labels. Boarding points differ too: a district name is not a berth, and the walk from the nearest drop-off can be long.
Window tables, open-deck access, a quiet corner and a specific menu are sometimes confirmed on the booking and sometimes merely noted as a preference. Ask for the distinction in writing. Anything an operator has not stated shows here as “Not confirmed” rather than being filled in for them.
